The true beauty of Amsterdam is best discovered ‘like a local’! Hop on one of our Roetz bikes and wander through the city’s bustling canals, beautiful parks and discover its hidden gems. Our concierges will point you in the right direction..
‘There are many different bicycle routes we can suggest to discover the lesser known parts of our beautiful city,’ says Ronald Flitz, Concierge at The Dylan. The closest charm from The Dylan is to be found in the Jordaan, a lively and cultural neighbourhood, just around our corner. To admire the beautiful architecture of Amsterdam, we highly suggest to wander through Amsterdam Oud Zuid. This is the one of the city’s most beautiful and affluent neighbourhoods, where you will find impressive monumental buildings and special boutiques. To catch your breath, stop at Amsterdam’s largest park, the famous Vondelpark.
For lovers of art and nature, we can recommend the Rembrandt route, beautiful on a summer day! It’s a beautiful day-trip outside of the city. On this route you will see where Rembrandt found his inspiration for his – lesser known – landscapes, and visit his statue at the windmill in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel.
